Initial Immigrant from England, possibly from the small village of
Clara in the province of Stafford. He was the son of French
Immigrants. He came to Norfolk, Virginia sometime before 1673,
as the records show that in that year, he owned two-hundred
acres of land in Henrico County.
Henrico was the relocation site of the settlement at Jamestown.
